Biography


Evelyn A. Troesser, age 93 of Frankenstein, passed away Monday, July 26, 2010, at St Mary’s Health Center in Jefferson City.

Evelyn was born February 12, 1917, in Frankenstein to the late Adolph and Anna (Samson) Kremer.

On May 30, 1941, Evelyn was united in marriage to Theodore “Ted” H. Troesser in Frankenstein. He preceded her in death on June 21, 1994.

Evelyn was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Frankenstein and a member of the St. Ann’s Ladies Sodality. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, quilting, card playing and gardening.

Survivors include: two sons, David E. and his wife Linda L. Troesser of Bonnots Mill, and Donald E. and his wife Linda M. Troesser of Loose Creek; one brother, Wilfred and his wife Mary Ann Kremer of Frankenstein; three sisters, Marie Ann Davis and her husband Milton of Jefferson City, Marcella Maassen and her husband Victor of St. Peters, and Germaine Kremer and her husband Magne of Oslo, Norway; eleven grandchildren, and nineteen great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Evelyn was preceded in death by three sisters, Katherine Hamner, Roselyn Greaves, and Sr. Florence Kremer; as well as three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Visitation for Evelyn will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 29, 2010, at Morton Chapel in Linn.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 30, 2010, at Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Frankenstein with Fr. I.C. Medina as the Celebrant. Interment will follow in the Garden of Gethsemane Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to St Mary’s School in Frankenstein.
