Morton Chapel has been a part of this community since 1933 and our staff will continue to provide compassionate and caring service to all our families while ensuring their health and safety. We will closely monitor all guidelines set by Osage County Health Department, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.
In accordance with those guidelines, we are asking that all services remain private for just the immediate family/close friends up to a maximum of 10 people. We will offer the option for larger public services at a later date.
We are following the recommended cleaning and disinfecting guidelines as established by the above agencies.
We ask that anyone with flu-like symptoms to please remain at home. This includes our staff as well. We also ask that you avoid shaking hands or physical contact. Loving words and a warm smile can be as meaningful to a grieving family member.
Morton Chapel’s website (www.mortonchapel.com) allows for family and friends to leave a note of sympathy for the family. If you prefer to mail a card or memorial contribution, please mail to Morton Chapel, PO Box 77, Linn, MO 65051. Please mark c/o of the family’s name and we will forward them to the family.
We know that losing a family member or friend is never easy and that these unsettling times can amplify those feelings of grief and anxiety. Please know that we are here for you and will continue to offer ways to support and help with honoring your loved one and to begin the healing process.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
