Carrie Lee Silvers, age 60 of Linn, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018, at University Hospital and Clinics in Columbia.
Carrie was born May 24, 1957, in Jefferson City, a daughter to Edward Nichols who survives of Chamois and Opal (Stewart) Rudroff who survives of Linn.
Carrie was a 1975 graduate of Chamois High School and later graduated from Nichols Career Center in Jefferson City.
Carrie was currently working at General Baptist Nursing Home in Linn as an LPN and had previous working at JCMG and various nursing facilities.
She was a member of the Linn Family Worship Center where she loved her church family. She enjoyed her Diet Coke and her trips to the beach in Cancun but her greatest joy was relaxing and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Carrie is survived by: one son, Anthony (Bridget Wiseman) Nichols of Chamois; three daughters, Chrystal Wolz of Linn, Ashley (Steven) Vodohosky of Bowling Green, and Courtney (Brandon) Haslag of Linn; one brother, Lindell (Ellen) Nichols of Chamois; one sister, Denise (Mike) Nolte of Chamois; nine grandchildren, Rebecca, Gavin, Jaiden, Hannah, Cameron, Blaidon, Arianna, Bryson and James; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Tony Nichols and her step-father, Virgil Rudroff.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, April 9, 2018, at Linn Family Worship Center in Linn. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Matt Lee officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.
