Marjorie Amelia Campbell, age 103 of Linn, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at General Baptist Nursing Home in Linn.
Marge was born on October 4, 1916, in Linn, a daughter to the late Victor and Alta (Bacon) Pinet.
She attended Flora School near Linn until the 8th grade. Marge was a 1935 graduate of Linn High School.
On June 26, 1941, she was united in marriage to Charles C. Campbell in Chamois. He preceded her in death on April 7, 1999.
From 1962 until 1997, she and her husband owned and operated Campbell Trailer Park in Linn.
Marge was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star.
She enjoyed quilting, sewing, cooking, gardening and planting flowers.
Marge is survived by: one son, Gayle Campbell and his wife Jeanie of Linn; one daughter, Karen Campbell of Linn; one daughter-in-law, JoAnn Campbell of Linn; five grandchildren, Clay Campbell and his wife Teresa, Amy Holtschneider and her husband Lee, Sheila Lenger and her husband Derek, April Voss and her husband Bryan, and Britni O’Connor and her husband Joey; eleven great grandchildren, Peyton, Parker, Cole, Ross, Charli, Harper, Ellie, Owen, Emmett, Wyatt, and Amelia.
In addition to her parents and spouse of 58 years, she was preceded in death by one son, Keith Campbell.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2019, at Morton Chapel in Linn. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. William Barkman officiating. Interment will be in the Linn Public Cemetery.
