Angeline "Angie" Kremer, age 92 of Loose Creek, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 7, 2014, at Westphalia Hills surrounded by her loving family.

Angie was born October 15, 1921, in Loose Creek, a daughter to the late Gustave and Bertha (Orscheln) Backes.

Angie attended school at Immaculate Conception in Loose Creek.

On November 12, 1946, Angie was united in marriage to Peter H. Kremer at Immaculate Conception Church in Loose Creek. He preceded her in death on December 31, 2001.

Angie was a homemaker and lifelong Loose Creek resident. She was also a lifelong member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and a member of the Loose Creek Sewing Circle and St. Ann's Sodality.

Angie enjoyed quilting, embroidery, puzzle books, and game shows, especially Wheel of Fortune. She also enjoyed her flower gardens, cooking, baking bread and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Angie was a great cook and loved preparing fried chicken, pot roast and cured ham for her large family.

Angie is survived by her seven children, Leonard Kremer and his wife Faye of Loose Creek, Arthur Kremer and his wife Sharon of Loose Creek, Maurice Kremer and his wife Clara of Rich Fountain, Martha Platt and her husband Frankie of Rich Fountain, Mary Ann Oldelehr and her husband Gary of Loose Creek, John Kremer and his wife Glenda of Loose Creek, and Irene Muenks of Loose Creek; one brother, Art Backes of Linn; two sisters, Olivia Ruettgers and her husband John of Loose Creek, and Grace Rackers of Loose Creek; 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and spouse of 55 years, Angie was preceded in death by: one brother, Al Backes; one sister, Catherine Bescheinen; one granddaughter, Jessica Kremer; and one son-in-law, Bryan Muenks.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at Morton Chapel in Linn.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2014, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Loose Creek with Fr. Don Antweiler as the celebrant. Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Parish Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to Immaculate Conception School.
