Anna Faye Highfill

Anna Faye Highfill, age 92, of rural Morrison and Hope, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018, at her residence with her loving son at her side.

Anna Faye was born December 30, 1925, in Dora, a daughter to the late Thomas and Pearlie (Collins) Luna.

Anna Faye attended a one room school in Dora and then High School in West Plains.

On May 24, 1942, in West Plains, she was united in marriage to W. O. “Slim” Highfill.  He preceded her in death on March 10, 2007.

Anna Faye was employed as secretary for family owned Outboard Service located at St Charles.

She served the boat and outboard motor sales and service business for 27 years, retiring in 1978.

She was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Linn Family Worship Center, located east of Linn.

Anna Faye loved to go fishing.

Anna Faye is survived by:  two sons, James Eldon Highfill, of the home and Daniel Ray Highfill of Kansas City; daughter, Judy Ann Ebeling (Curt) Baue of St Charles; sister June (Harry) Wade; and sister Leilani (Cecil) Isaac; plus two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Anna Faye was preceded in death by daughter in law, Doris Highfill and son in law, Brent Eberling.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at Morton Chapel in Linn with funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will be in the Shirley Mint Hill Cemetery near Chamois.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Shirley Mint Hill Cemetery.
