Arlene K Hall

Arlene Katherine Hall, 86, of Linn, was called home to our Lord on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Harbor Place in Linn.

She was born on May 24, 1931 to Henry and Bertha (Gresser)Ostendorf in St. Augusta, Minnesota.

She was a loving and caring woman who touched the lives of all who knew her. She was a member of Tower View Baptist Church.

She married the love of her life Robert Shaw Hall on January 19, 1952, in Los Angeles, California and he preceded her in death on May 11, 2002. They raised two children Raymond Hall and Robyn Hall (Klaver).

She enjoyed staying at home and raising her children and taking care of her family. Arlene had a heart of gold and never wanted to see anyone in need. She helped many personally and gave so much of her time volunteering at churches and food pantries or anyplace else she might have felt needed her. Her passion was the farm where she sat on her deck to watch the trees, birds, and the flowers bloom. She fed her deer and loved to see the birds. Arlene loved riding her four wheeler all over God‘s creation all the way up to a few months before her passing.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert and son Raymond. Brothers and sisters Cyril, Jerry, Ernie, Alvina, Bernice, Betty, and Hank.

She is survived by her daughter Robyn(Mark) Klaver. Her sisters, Cora Stenberg and Bernie Stimson, her grandchildren Mary Kate and Kimberly Klaver and one great grandchild Alexander, plus many nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to Nina Henderson for loving her like a mom and making it possible for her to stay at the farm for as long as possible.

Thanks to Harbor Place and Hospice Compassus for the truly great care and compassion they showed her . She will be truly missed.

The family is holding private services.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Good Shepherd Food Pantry in Linn or  any Hospice organization.
