Betty J. Miller, age 86, of Linn, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026, at SSM Health St. Mary’s in Jefferson City surrounded by her family.
Betty was born on October 8, 1939, in Pionter’s Creek, a daughter to the late Robert Earl and Ruby Opal (Monroe) Tyree.
Betty attended school at Pointer’s Creek and Linn School.
On October 17, 1959, Betty was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Miller in Bland. Bob preceded her in death on April 17, 2021.
Betty was employed Cheesebrough Ponds for 25 years until her retirement.
Betty was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church in Judge.
Betty enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Betty is survived by: two sons, Kenny (Michelle) Miller of Frankenstein and Randy (Loretta) Miller of Linn; six grandchildren, Kyle (Chelsie) Miller, Chad (Chrissy) Miller, Robbie Miller and friend Missi, and Nicholas Miller and friend April; nine great grandchildren: two brothers, Herbert Tyree of Linn and Ronnie (Darlene) Tyree of Chamois; one sister-in-law, Jackie Tyree of Linn; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband of sixty-one years, Betty was preceded in death by a brother, Elmer Tyree; two sisters-in-law, Vera Tyree and Jo Ann Tyree, along with many aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Solid Rock Baptist Church in Judge with funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. with the Rev. David Krueger officiating. Interment will follow at Solid Rock Baptist Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Family of Betty Miller.
