Chester Clarence Sieg, Jr

Chester C. ""Junior"" Sieg, Jr. age 58 of Jefferson City passed away Saturday, December 19, 2009 at the Jefferson City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness.

Chester was born September 26, 1951 in Jefferson City, a son to the late Chester C. and Elizabeth (Linnenbrink) Sieg, Sr.

Chester was employed as a supervisor at Scholastic for a number of years until he became disabled. Chester was an avid bowler having bowled several 300 games. He also enjoyed golfing.

Chester is survived by two sons; Kyle and Cory Sieg of Jefferson City, five brothers; Gerald and his wife Nancy Mantle of Jefferson City, Jim and his wife Rita Mantle of Bonnots Mill, Leo "Bud" Sieg and his wife Shirley of Jefferson City, Richard Sieg of Bonnots Mill, Bruce and his wife Jennifer Sieg of Bonnots Mill, four sisters; Helen Ferguson and her husband Jim of Linn, Patty Grothoff and her husband Mike of Olathe, KS, Mary Huhn and her husband Bob of Koeltztown and Doris Dolce and her husband Chas of Jefferson City as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Chester was preceded in death by one sister, Cathy Rehagen.

Visitation will be 4pm-8pm Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at the Morton Chapel in Linn.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at the St. Louis of France Catholic Church in Bonnots Mill with Fr. I.C. Medina as the Celebrant.

Interment will follow in the St. Louis of France Church Cemetery.
