Dale Allen Dudenhoeffer, age 65, of Chamois, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
Dale was born August 11, 1956, in St. Louis, son of the late George and Generose (Gentges) Dudenhoeffer.
He attended All Souls Elementary School and was a 1975 graduate of Ritenour Senior High in St. Louis where he participated on the football and track team.
Dale was a soft-spoken man who enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing horseshoes, shooting pool and drinking beer with his friends. Dale loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues. He loved attending the annual family lake weekends.
Dale is survived by: one brother, William “Bill” Dudenhoeffer and his wife Donna of Ozark; six sisters, Rosemary Bell and special friend Rick Kettler of Blue Eye, Donna Hardesty and her husband Steve of Kirkwood, Nancy Dudenhoeffer of Jefferson City, Janet Hespen and her husband Jerry of New Melle, Linda Foulk and her husband Dennis of Jefferson City, and Lisa Ruettgers and her husband Jerry of Loose Creek; many nieces, nephews and was a good friend to many: Aiden who thought of Dale like a papa; and his beloved dog, Buddy.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022, at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Frankenstein. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Colin Franklin as the Celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Good Shepherd Food Pantry in Linn.
