Demont L. Webb

Demont L. Webb, age 19, of Jefferson City, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Demont was born on December 7, 2004, in Jefferson City, a son to Kathleen “Katie” Hinton of Jefferson City and Lawane Webb, Sr. of Columbia.

Demont was a 2023 graudate of Jefferson City High School.

Demont was a natural born leader and protector of his family, he would sacrifice anything for the ones he loved and always put himself last.  As a leader, he did things his own way in his own time.  He was one of a kind.  He always had a fresh outfit on and loved getting a clean haircut to look his best.   Music was Demont’s love language and his passion.  He enjoyed sharing music with his friends and family and loved to just “chill”.  He also enjoyed drawing in his down time and watching the ID channel with his mom.  

In addition to his parents, Demont is survived by his 6 siblings, Mason Prenger, Isabelle Webb, Wayne Webb, Lawane Webb, Jr., Aleah Webb all of Jefferson City and Nayla Webb of Columbia; maternal grandmother, Cindy Heseman of Linn; maternal grandfather, Mitch Hinton of Osage Beach; paternal grandparents, Bishop Alfonse Webb and Pastor Jennifer Webb of Holts Summit; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  

Demont was preceded in death by his brother, Jerik Archer.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at House of Refuge Worship Center in Jefferson City with Funeral Service to follow at 3:00 p.m. with his grandparents, Bishop Alfonse Webb and Pastor Jennifer Webb officiating.  A Celebration of Life service for Demont and Jerik will be held at a later date.
