Diana Jean (Heil) Mittelhauser

Diana Jean (Heil) Mittelhauser, age 72, of Linn, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at her residence.

Diana was born on July 14, 1951, in St. Louis, a daughter to the late John Paul and Laverne Marie (Wohldmann) Heil. 

She was a 1969 graduate of Mercy High School in St. Louis. 

Diana was employed as a secretary for State Technical College in Linn for many years.  After retirement, she helped in the St. George Catholic School office. 

Diana was a devoted member of St. George Catholic Church in Linn.

Diana enjoyed crocheting, “Spooky movies”, going to her grandchildren’s sporting events, and watching nature.  Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family.

Diana is survived by one daughter, Amanda Seifert and her husband Matt of Linn; two grandchildren, Lucas and Stella Seifert; two brothers, Rev. John “Jack” Heil of Washington D.C., and Michael Heil and his wife Vickie of Lake St. Louis; two sisters, Denise “Tinner” Allison and her husband Perry of Edwardsville, IL., and Donna “Nina” Kary and her husband Gary of Robertsville; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 15, 2023, at St. George Catholic Church in Linn with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 a.m., with Fr. Colin Franklin as the Celebrant.  Interment will be in the St. George Parish Cemetery.
