Dorothy (Wolfe) Brown, age 59 of Chamois, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at her residence.

Dorothy was born on January 14, 1956, in Jefferson City, a daughter to the late Thomas N. and Verla A. (Mathews) Wolfe.

Dorothy was a 1975 graduate of Bernie High School. She worked at Briggs and Stratton and Tyson Factories. Her last job was the job she enjoyed the most being a Certified Nurses Aid at Linn Living and Rehab Center in Linn.

Dorothy was a very active member of the First Pentecostal of Gasconade Church. She loved to be outside, whether being in the garden, helping her brother on his farm or going to yard sales. Dorothy put the needs of everyone else before herself.

Dorothy is survived by: three sons, Nick Haw of Bernie, Jeremiah Brown and his wife Amanda of Sikeston and Joshua Brown and his wife Jonice of St. Louis; three brothers, John Wolfe and his wife Karen of Chamois, Gene Wolfe of Columbia and Larry Wolfe of Sikeston; two sisters, Rachel Haw of St. Augustine, FL presently in Bagdad, Iraq, and Nancy Bell U.S. Army presently stationed in Washington, DC and her husband Michael Sterling presently in Bagdad, Iraq and four grandchildren, Lindsey, Joseph, Nicelle and Gabriel.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by a nephew, Jason Wolfe.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 8, 2016, at First Pentecostal of Gasconade Church.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2016, at First Pentecostal of Gasconade Church with Pastor Doug Kuebler officiating. Interment will follow in the Ferguson Cemetery near Chamois.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the First Pentecostal of Gasconade Church.
