Dorothy J. Enix, age 83, of Linn, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2009, at the Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.

She was born July 21, 1926, a daughter to the late William and Vesta (Druin) Kemple. Dorothy attended school in Osage County and also Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, MO.

Dorothy was employed at Linn State Bank for forty years.

On June 5, 1948, Dorothy was united in marriage to Waldon Heidbrink in Linn. He preceded her in death on March 13, 1987.

On July 3, 1993 she was united in marriage to Kenneth R. Enix in Linn. He survives of the home.

Dorothy enjoyed sewing, camping, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Community of Christ Church where she served as a priest.

In addition to her husband, Dorothy is survived by: two sons, Dale Heidbrink of Linn and Mark and his wife Teresa Heidbrink of Linn; two daughters, Donna Bonnot and her husband Don of Linn and Diane Brandhorst and her husband Dennis of Jefferson City; one step-son, Daniel and his wife Liza Enix of Independence; two step-daughters, Kathy Osterhoff of Independence and Betty Thomas and her husband Dale of Lomas, CA; one brother, William "Bill" and his wife Pat Kemple of Grain Valley, MO; 15 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at Morton Chapel in Linn.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at Community of Christ Church with Elder John Zaring officiating.

Interment will follow in the Community of Christ Church Cemetery.
