Elizabeth Jane Gibson

Elizabeth J. Gibson, age 86, of Linn, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at her residence.

Elizabeth was born September 25, 1925, in Milford, MI, a daughter to the late Louis and Winifred (Otton) Weaver.

On March 3, 1943, she was united in marriage to Glen E. Gibson in Ohio. He preceded her in death on October 7, 2004.

Elizabeth was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed playing card games, working puzzle books, and watching Lawrence Welk on TV.

Survivors include: five sons, Tim Gibson of Linn, Tom Gibson and his wife Margaret of Allentown, MI, Dave Gibson and his wife Patty of Washington, MI, Jim Gibson and his wife Cyndie of Kirksville, MO, and Robert Gibson of Linn; one brother, Frank Weaver and his wife Marion of Clyde, MI; twenty-two grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by: three sons, Gary, Michael, and Donald Gibson; and one step daughter, Ruth Potter.

Private services will be held at a later date.
