Elmer F. Rudroff

Elmer F. Rudroff, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, June 29, 2026, passed away peacefully at the age of 93. He joined his devoted and loving wife of 63 years, JoAnn (nee Vogt), in Heaven, just 5 months 3 weeks after her passing.

Elmer is survived by his children Gregory (Susan) Rudroff and Linda (Joseph) Antonacci, grandchildren Patrick Rudroff, Sarah (Joe) Wildhaber and Isabelle Antonacci, step-grandchildren Tom (Ali) and Jessica Antonacci, step-great-grandchildren Addie, Jack, Joe, Gia & Sophia Antonacci, and great-grandson Lane Wildhaber. Elmer was a beloved uncle, cousin, and friend to so many.

Elmer was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Catherine (nee Bock) Rudroff, brothers Felix, Peter and Clemens Rudroff, sister Dorothy Rudroff, and brother-in-law Robert J. Vogt Sr.

Elmer was a member of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion, IAM District 837 Retirement Club, Senior Club of St. Rose Philippine Duchesne Church and 49RS Senior Club in West Alton, MO.

Elmer proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and continued his service by volunteering at the USO for decades. He retired from McDonnell Douglas/Boeing after 43 years. He loved crappie fishing, card games, being a grandpa and spending time with his sweetie.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 20, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rich Fountain with a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Philip Kane as the Celebrant. Interment with full military honors will be held in Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to James S. McDonnell USO.
