Emil Ray Voss

Emil Ray Voss, age 71, of Marshall, formerly of Linn, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2026, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.

Emil was born on December 12, 1954, in Jefferson City, a son to the late Michael J. and Teresa (Vaughan) Voss.

He was employed at the Shelter Workshop in Marshall for many years.

Emil enjoyed listening to country music, going shopping, and sharing his great sense of humor with everyone he met. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.

Emil is survived by his sister, Linda Samson and her husband Roger of Jefferson City, a niece, Sheila Bertorelli and her husband David of Chesterville, and a nephew, Randy Samson and his wife Chystal of Weatherford, Texas along with many cousins and friends.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 11, 2026, at St. George Parish Cemetery in Linn with Rev. Colin Franklin officiating.

In Lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to St. George Catholic Church in Linn.
