Evelyn Sue Farnsworth, age 75, of Linn, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023, at University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia.

 

Sue was born on April 8, 1948, in Osage County, a daughter to the late Donald and Louise (Senevey) Crowe.

 

On November 23, 1964, she was united in marriage to Gerald Farnsworth in Linn.  Gerald resides at their home. 

 

Sue was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her family. 

 

Sue enjoyed spending time at the lake fishing and working in her flower garden.  She loved to party and have a good time.  Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 

In addition to her husband of 58 years, she is survived by two sons, Jerry Farnsworth and his wife Ronna of Morrison and Gary Farnsworth and his wife Deb of Bonnots Mill; four grandchildren, Nicole Farnsworth, Miranda Carter, Garrett Farnsworth and Alexis Farnsworth; seven great grandchildren, Dakota, Bentley, Kingston, Audiebell, Breckin, Kaison and Avery; four brothers, Robert Crowe of Linn, Larry Crowe of Hermann, Frank Crowe of St. Louis and Curtis Crowe of Mt. Sterling; seven sisters, Donna Helfrich of Linn, Betty Nolte of Morrison, Alverda Buscher of Chamois, Sharon Fleeman of Kansas City, Debbie Wolfe and Judy Hale of Linn, and Kathy Reeves of Warsaw; along with many nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Douglas Farnsworth, four brothers, Jimmy, Jack, Bud and Rick Crowe; and three sisters, Stella Groves, Esther Relford, and Gladys Kaullen.

 

Private Family Service will be held at a later date. 

 

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Linn Public Cemetery.
