Genevieve 'Jenny' Zweifel

Genevieve "Jenny" Zweifel, age 65 of Bonnots Mill, Mo. passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at the University Hospital in Columbia, Mo.

She was born on August 23, 1943 in St. Louis, Mo a daughter to the late Charles Martin and Lethia (Burton) Hatfield.

Jenny attended school at Fairview School in Jennings, Mo. On May 12, 2000 she was united in marriage to Norman Zweifel. He survives of the home.

She was employed at Capital Region Hospital for sixteen years until her retirement.

Jenny enjoyed collecting knick knacks and boating.

In addition to her husband she is survived by: one daughter, Christy and her husband Bill Cook of Houston, TX, two step-sons, Gregory and his wife Kim Zweifel of Belle, Mo. and Don and his wife Durae Zweifel of Union, Mo., one step-daughter, Cheryl Zweifel and her special friend Steve Enke of Cuba, Mo., one brother, John and his wife Nadine Hatfield of Troy, Mo., one sister, Dimple and her husband Richard Hynes of Troy, Mo., four grandchildren, Elizabeth, Becky, Amanda and Courtney Zweifel, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and friends.

Jenny was preceded in death by one brother, David Hatfield.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20, 2009 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Morton Chapel in Linn.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Morton Chapel. Interment will follow in the Community of Christ Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Linn Masonic Lodge Charity Fund or to Our Lady of Help School at Frankenstein.
