John H. Dresel

John H. Dresel, age 85, of Rich Fountain, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Stonebridge Westphalia. 

John was born September 1, 1937, in Rich Fountain, a son to the late Peter and Emma (Boehm) Dresel.

He graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic School in Rich Fountain. 

John grew up and worked on the family farm for most of his life. He also worked for Huebler Industries in Linn. 

He was member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rich Fountain.

John enjoyed bowling and also enjoyed going to auctions but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends.

John is survived by two sisters, Anna Strope of Rich Fountain and Betty Kremer of Rich Fountain along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Geraldine Buscher and two brothers-in-law, Ronnie Buscher and Tom Kremer.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rich Fountain. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. James Finder as the Celebrant.  Interment will be in Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to Masses.
