Judi Atkin

Judi Atkin, age 79, of Linn, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Capitol Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.

Judi was born on September 11, 1946, in Moline, Illinois, a daughter to the late Virgil and Velma (Hoffmeier) Morris.

She was a 1964 graduate of Linn High School, and she attended Lincoln University in Jefferson City.

In November of 1985, she was united in marriage to Randy Atkin in Jefferson City. Randy survives at their home.

Judi owned and operated her own cleaning business for 45 years.

She enjoyed gardening, buying and selling antiques, crafting, rummage sales, going to NASCAR races, and watching the Kansas City Chiefs. She loved her animals. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her husband of forty years, Judi is survived by her daughter, Dawn Pierce of Linn, along with many friends.

Per Judi’s wish, her body has been cremated, and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Animal Humane Society.
