Kelly Head

Kelly Head, age 58, of Linn, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Kelly was born on February 26, 1967, in Washington, a son to the late Sonny and Marcie (Guthrie) Head.

On July 25, 2020, he was united in marriage to Deborah Fischer in Chamois. Deborah survives at their home.

He was self-employed doing construction.

Kelly enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and smoking meat on his barbeque grill. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife of four years, Kelly is survived by his daughter, Ashley (Dustin) Stevenson of Independence; one granddaughter, Brittney Chapmen; two brothers, David (Amy) Head of Hermann and Donnie Head of Rhineland; one sister, Jade Head of Hermann; his mother-in-law, Penny Fischer of Hermann; a brother-in-law, Tom Fischer of Hermann along with nieces, nephews and many friends.

In addition to his parents, Kelly was preceded in death by his first wife, Cathy Head and his father-in-law, Bill Fischer.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Morton Chapel in Linn with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Eddie Schoeneberg officiating.
