Kenneth Eugene “Kenny” Schuch, age 84, of Belle, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at Riverview Nursing Home in Mokane, Mo.
He was born on April 14, 1942, in Jefferson City, the son of Eugene and Bessie (Maire) Schuch
Kenny was a 1960 graduate of Hermann High School. Shortly after graduation, he answered the call to serve his country by joining the United States Army, a commitment that reflected his dedication and sense of duty. Following his military service, Kenneth began a career with Amoco Oil, where he devoted many years of hard work until a disability brought his working years to an end
Kenneth was a proud member of the American Legion and a lifelong Democrat who remained steadfast in his beliefs. One of his greatest passions in life was his love for John Deere tractors. He enjoyed attending countless tractor auctions, always looking forward to seeing what treasures he might find. He also had a special talent for refurbishing pedal tractors, taking great pride in restoring them and finding them new homes through resale. Beyond his love for tractors, Kenneth had a special place in his heart for his cows and his beloved puppy dog, who brought him endless companionship and joy. Kenny found happiness in the simple things that made life meaningful to him.
Kenny is survived by his good friends, Caroline Amptman, and George Scheulen.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Bessie Schuch; brothers, Ward, Larry, and Randy; and his girlfriend, Joyce Disandro.
A graveside service with full military honors will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at Deer Creek Cemetery in Chamois, Mo.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Humane Society of Missouri, 1201 Macklind Avenue, St. Louis, MO, 63110.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Morton Chapel.
