Kevin Leroy Nichols

Kevin L. Nichols, age 48, of Macon, and formerly of Linn, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014 in Macon.

Kevin was born June 2, 1966, in St. Charles, a son to the late Delmar E. Nichols and Judy (Turnbow) Nichols who survives in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Kevin attended high schools in Linn before graduating from Jefferson City High School. In 2008, Kevin graduated from Moberly Area Community College with a degree in Business Administration.

Kevin was the owner/operator of PE Cleaning Service, a professional cleaning business in Macon.

Kevin belonged to the Macon Elks Lodge #999 where he loved being a member.

He enjoyed martial arts, bluegrass music, gun collecting, video games and helping those that were less fortunate than him.

In addition to his mother, Kevin is survived by: two brothers, Glenn Nichols of Linn and David Nichols of Newnan, GA; two sisters, Rebecca Layton and her husband Chris of Linn and Sarah Nichols of Cedar Rapids, IA; his aunt, Lucille Bascom of Linn; nephews, Trevor Nichols of St Clair and Dustin Layton of Westphalia; a great nephew, Brandon Yutzy of Linn; nieces, Ashley Vaught of Linn, Hannah Nichols of Newnan, GA. and Stephanie and Elizabeth Layton both of Linn.

A Celebration of Kevin's life will begin at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Morton Chapel in Linn followed by full military honors.
