Larry William Gentzsch

Larry William Gentzsch, age 68, of Linn, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020, at Capital Region Medical Center.

Larry was born April 8, 1952, in Jefferson City, a son to the late Duward and Berna Joyce (May) Gentzsch.

Larry was a 1970 graduate of Jefferson City High School and a 1973 graduate of Linn Technical College within an associate degree in electronics and computers.

Upon graduation from Linn Technical College he accepted a position with Westinghouse in Jefferson City.  He was an electronics instructor at Nichols Career Center, an electronics technician with Reinsch Television, and co-owner of Action Service Center specializing in electronic repair.   

Larry enjoyed and was skilled in electronics and welding. 

Larry is survived by one brother, Don Gentzsch and his wife Gae Ellyn of Iowa City, IA; two nephews, William (Christina) Gentzsch of Tiffin, IA and Andrew Gentzsch of Iowa City, IA; and one niece, Anneliese (Ben) Broman of Missoula, MT.

Private family services will be held at a later date with interment at Riverview Cemetery in Jefferson City.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Larry was such a good person he did so much for my son and his small family. He loved those kids.. So very sorry for your loss but now he's not in pain any longer. Rose Hill

Our sincere sympathy for your great loss, brother Larry. Many good memories at East School that he and I were special students with our disabilities. Also, at Central Church. He was an excellent television repairman.
