Larry "Hooper" Ray Jaegers

Larry “Hooper” Ray Jaegers, age 71 of Bonnots Mill, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Heisinger Bluffs in Jefferson City.

Hooper was born November 27, 1954, in Jefferson City, a son to the late Leslie and Alvina (Kliethermes) Jaegers.

Hooper was a 1972 graduate of Fatima High School and worked for Scholastic in Jefferson City for many years before his retirement.

He was a member of St. Louis of France Catholic Church in Bonnots Mill and enjoyed old cars, watching tv and scratching off lottery tickets.

Hooper is survived by one son, Colton Jaegers of Bonnots Mill; two brothers, Roger Jaegers of Loose Creek and Kevin (Tammy) Jaegers of Bonnots Mill as well as many nieces, nephews and friends

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce Kremer and Gail (Jaegers) Reinkemeyer.

Visitation for Hooper will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at St Louis of France Catholic Church in Bonnots Mill. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Tony Rinaldo as the Celebrant.

Interment will be in the St. Louis of France Parish Cemetery in Bonnots Mill.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Louis of France Catholic Church.
