Leon Erwin Bracht

Leon Erwin Bracht, 84, Linn, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025, in Orlando, Florida.

He was born on October 30, 1940, to the late Charles and Alice Bracht of Chamois.

He graduated from Chamois High School and Lincoln University in 1965.

Leon was employed with the US Department of Agriculture for 41 years.

He was a member of Linn Community Christian Church. Leon was strong in his faith to God and loved his family dearly.

He enjoyed beekeeping since he was 17 years old, fishing, and hunting. He also liked watching Off the Grid programs on YouTube.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Charles and Alice.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Camary; children Gerald (Mary Beth) Daryl, Anne (Lemuel), Grandchildren; Cami (Zack), Sarah, Timothy, Ean, Exavier; 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Elaine, Arizona and JoAnn (Don) Morrison, MO and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Linn Community Church on July 19, 2025, with visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and service at 11:00 a.m. Tim Mitchell officiating. Interment at Fredericksburg Cemetery.

Memorial contributions suggested to Fredericksburg Cemetery.
