Lisa was a very special person. She was there for my first year of teaching at Garcia. We continued our friendship after she left. I am going to miss our morning phone calls that continued after she moved back to Linn. I will especially miss the 2 am calls when we couldnt sleep. Lisa was the most considerate person and not just to people she knew but to strangers. She loved teaching, children, her family, Alyssa and actually everyone she met. Always kind and caring. She had a big heart made of gold.
