Lois Ann Schroeder

Lois Ann Schroeder, age 66 of Jefferson City, formerly of Linn, passed away Monday, June 16, 2014, at Adams Street Place in Jefferson City.

Lois was born August 26, 1947, in Jefferson City, a daughter to the late Denis P. and Rose Agnes (Koenigsfeld) Schroeder.

Lois was a 1965 graduate of Linn High School and received an associate's degree in accounting from Lincoln University in Jefferson City.

Lois spent most of her career working for the State of Missouri initially at the Department of Revenue and retired as a Management Analyst for the Department of Mental Health in 2003.

Lois was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Jefferson City. She was an avid book reader, solitaire player and enjoyed socializing with friends, traveling and collecting angel figurines.

Lois is survived by: three sisters, Sr. Judith Schroeder, SSND of St. Louis, Mary Jo Hueste of Linn, and Ruth Brown and her husband Rob of Denver, CO; one brother, Frank Schroeder of Jefferson City; a nephew, Alan Hueste and his wife Lisa of Taos; two great nieces, Whitney and Taylor Hueste.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Albert Hueste.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2014, at Morton Chapel in Linn.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 20, 2014, at St. George Catholic Church with Fr. John Schmitz as the celebrant. Burial will be in the St. George Parish Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Samaritan Center in Jefferson City.
