Lois Beverly Voss

Lois Beverly Voss, age 66, of Linn, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Linn Living and Rehab Center in Linn.

Lois was born on June 20, 1949, in Kansas City, Missouri, a daughter to Robert Lee Masters and the late Mary Ann (Brandt) Masters.

On May 26, 1973, Lois was united in marriage to Norbert A. Voss at the St. George Catholic Church in Linn. Norbert survives at their home.

Lois was employed for the State of Missouri in the Department of Social Services for 10 years. She then was able to become a stay at home Mom which she loved.

Lois was a member of St. George Catholic Church.

She enjoyed crocheting especially tea towels and afghans, embroidery, and coloring. Her greatest love was the time spent with her husband, children and grandchildren.

In addition to her husband of 42 years and her father, Lois is survived by: two daughters, Julie Voss of Linn and Jennifer Schmid and her husband Timothy of Bland; five grandchildren, Felecia Voss, Emily Lamm, Kaylee Sankey, Anthony and Timothy J. Schmid; two brothers, Alan Masters and his wife Judy of Brazito and Larry Masters and his wife Rachelle of Jefferson City; three sisters, Lee Ann Rustemeyer and her husband Mark of Jefferson City, Norma Boillot and her husband George of Linn and Laura and Randy Thoenen of Linn; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2016, at Morton Chapel in Linn.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2016, at St. George Catholic Church in Linn with Fr. Daniel J. Merz as celebrant. Interment will follow in the St. George Catholic Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Breast Cancer Foundation.
