Lucinda “Lucy” Renee Sherman

Lucinda “Lucy” Renee Sherman, age 49, of Jefferson City, Missouri, formerly of Goodwell, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024, at her residence.

Lucy was born November 16, 1974, in West Plains, Missouri, a daughter to the late Michael Paul and Rosette Marie (Tamas) Sherman.   

She was a 1992 graduate of Houston High School, Houston, MO. 

Lucy was employed as a dental assistant.

She loved to read and travel, play solitaire on her computer, going to the boats to gamble and playing lottery scratcher tickets.

Lucy is survived by a son, Hayden Campbell and a daughter, Janice Dean and her husband Chance, both of Guymon, OK; two sisters, RayAnne (Jeff) Strubberg of Jefferson City, MO and Charnelle Carrigg, of Jefferson City, MO; four brothers, Randy (Sheila Coffman) Churchill of Glencoe, AR, Jim Ostrander of Jefferson City, MO, Mike (Lindsay Mash) Sherman of Cabool, MO, and Joseph Sherman of Salem, AR; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, Lucy was preceded in death by her step-mother, Carrollyn P. Sherman; one sister, Theresa Shockley; a niece, Monica Sherman; and other family and friends.  

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church at 1212 North Crumley, in Guymon, Ok.
