Marilla Ann Krieg

Marilla A. Krieg, age 82 of Rich Fountain, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 13, 2015, at her residence.

Marilla was born on July 23, 1932, in Linn, a daughter to the late Jacob and Lisetta (Voss) Kramer.

Marilla was a 1950 graduate of Westphalia High School.

On November 23, 1954, she was united in marriage to Clem Krieg at St. George Catholic Church in Linn. He survives of the home.

Marilla was a homemaker and a lifelong area resident. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rich Fountain and St. Ann's Ladies Sodality.

In addition to her spouse of 60 years, Marilla is survived by: three sons, Karl Krieg and Daniel Krieg both of Rich Fountain and Paul Krieg and his wife Lisa of Rich Fountain; five daughters, Diane Speir of Lee's Summit, Carolyn Kampeter of Jefferson City, Jeanie Martin of Ozark, Patty Schnieders and her husband Steve of Rich Fountain and Ruth Falter and husband Jeff of Freeburg; one brother, Herb Kramer and his wife Jeanette of Rich Fountain; 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Marilla was preceded in death by one brother, Harry Kramer.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rich Fountain.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rich Fountain with Fr. William Debo, Fr. James Finder and Fr. Augustine Okoli as concelebrants. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery.
