Mary A. Brandt

Mary Alice Brandt, age 55 of Linn, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2012, at her residence.

Mary was born February 21, 1957, in Jefferson City, a daughter to the late Sion Edward Cottrell and Ruth M. (Mueller) Cottrell who survives of Jefferson City.

Mary attended Trinity Lutheran Grade School and was a 1975 graduate of Jefferson City High School.

On July 23, 1977, Mary was united in marriage to Bruce P. Brandt in Linn. He survives of the home.

Mary worked at Chesebrough-Pond's (Unilever) for 33 years until her retirement.

Mary was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Jefferson City and she enjoyed hunting, fishing, sewing, and volunteered her time to work at St. George Church picnics and fall suppers.

In addition to her husband and mother, Mary is survived by: one sister, Barbara J. Kirsch and her husband Dave of Jefferson City and many nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her father, Mary was preceded in death by: one brother, William E. Cottrell and a half sister, Louise Ann Cottrell Buehrle.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Morton Chapel in Linn. Funeral Services will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Morton Chapel with Fr. I.C. Medina officiating. Interment will be in the St. George Parish Cemetery.
