Mary Jane Hoffman

Mary Jane Hoffman, age 85, of Vienna, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 12, 2026, at Maries Manor in Vienna.

Mary Jane was born on October 30, 1940, in Holts Summit, a daughter to the late George and Evelyn (Nicholson) Coleman.

On June 29, 1980, she was united in marriage to William L. Hoffman in Jefferson City. William preceded her in death on April 19, 2021.

Mary Jane was a member of the Baptist Faith and she enjoyed being outdoors.

Mary Jane is survived by her children, William, Jr., Mike and Beverly; three grandchildren, Matthew, Michael and Miranda; one brother, Russell Coleman of Jefferson City; and one sister, Alice Coleman; her in-laws, Alex “Fireball” (Norma) Hoffman of Meta, Joan (Gary) Linnenbringer of Auxvasse and Joseph “Butchy” Hoffman and friend, Joanne of Freeburg, Albert, Jr., (Linda) Hoffman of Freeburg and Theresa Pope and friend, Thomas Lackey of Freeburg; along with many friends.

In addition to her parents and spouse of forty years, Mary Jane was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Coleman and one brother, Tom Coleman.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Linn Public Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Cecila Catholic Church in Meta.
