Mary Faye Keeran

Mary Faye Keeran, age 74 of Jamestown, formerly of Osage County, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Jefferson City Nursing and Rehab.

 

Mary Faye was born February 4, 1948, in Jefferson City, a daughter to the late Arvel and Della (Branson) Herndon.

 

Mary Faye was graduate of Hermann High School.

 

On November 9, 1995, she was united in marriage to Raymond Keeran in Boonville.  He survives at their home.

 

Mary Faye worked many years as a cook, owning her own business and later working for the Department of Corrections.

 

She was a member of Oklahoma Church of Christ and enjoyed clipping newspapers articles, reading, teaching ceramics, cooking, listening to Blue Grass music, and coyote hunting with her husband.

 

In addition to her husband of 25 years, she is survived by: a son, Jeffrey Schoby of Columbia; a stepdaughter, Kim Keeran of Jamestown; four step-grandchildren, Daley, Jordan, Calen and Addison; and a sister-in-law, Marilyn Herndon of Kingdom City.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Loretta Keeran, a brother, Dennis Herndon and a nephew, Patrick Herndon.

 

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 15, 2022, at Oklahoma Church of Christ near Linn.   Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Gary Ruff officiating.  Interment will be held at Oklahoma Church of Christ Cemetery.

 

Expressions of sympathy may be made to Oklahoma Church of Christ.
