Michael Lee Hasenbeck
Michael Lee Hasenbeck, age 57, of Chamois, passed away Friday, May 19, 2017, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
Mike was born on April 13, 1961, a son to the late Gerald and Judith Ann (Hamacher) Hasenbeck in Jefferson City.
Mike was a 1979 graduate of Fredericktown High School in Fredericktown, Missouri. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and was a proud Marine all of his life.
Upon discharge, he worked for the avionics industry in Olathe, Kansas, where he met his beloved wife, Linda.
On May 1, 1987, he was united in marriage to Linda Dunne in Olathe, Kansas. She preceded him in death on March 11, 2011.
Mike was a member of St. George Catholic Church, and he enjoyed reading and learning more about his faith.
He loved his job at Wireless USA in Jefferson City. He was an avid sports fan, and he cheered loudly for the Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Cardinals.
Mike was an outdoorsman and a skilled hunter and fisherman. He was a generous friend, a loyal husband, and a family man.
Mike is survived by his brother, David Hasenbeck, and niece, Eleanor, of Des Arc, Missouri, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at St. George Catholic Church in Linn. Mass of Christian
Burial will follow at noon at St. George Catholic Church in Linn with Fr. I.C. Medina as the celebrant.
Interment will be in St. George Parish Cemetery in Linn with full Military Honors
Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. George Church.
