Mike W. Busche, Sr., age 83, of Linn, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Mike was born on April 26, 1943, in Portland, Oregon, a son to the late William and Emily (Seger) Busche.
He earned his Associate of Applied Science degree from Central Oregon Community College
On October 13, 1971, he was united in marriage to Patricia Hemminger in Casper Wyoming. Patricia survives at their residence.
Mike owned and operated his own over the road trucking business for over twenty-five years.
He was a member of St. George Catholic Church in Linn.
Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, raising a garden, making furniture, woodworking, watching corny horror movies and westerns and being with his dog and cats. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife of fifty-four years, Mike is survived by his four children, William (Monica) Busche of Linn, Christine Busche of Salem, Oregon, Michael (Rachel) Busche of Wardsville, and Janet (Jonathan) Barnes of Jefferson City; seven grandchildren, Gillian Davis, Kaleb Busche, Mason Field, Kinsey Field, Brandon Davidson, Cody Davidson and Jennifer Wilber; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Tom (Dory) Busche of Coos Bay, Oregon, and Stephen (Charlotte) Busche of Vancouver, Washington; two sisters, Cathy Busche of Prineville, Oregon and Mary Rose Busche of Prineville, Oregon; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by a daughter, Cherish Busche.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Morton Chapel in Linn with a Memorial Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Deacon Robert Schowengerdt officiating. Inurnment will be held in Highland Cemetery in Casper, Wyoming.
In Lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Wishes of the Family.
