Richard P. Frank, age 53, of Linn, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Richard was born on June 29, 1963, in Jefferson City, a son to Floyd G. Frank, Jr., and the late Anna Marie (Jaegers) Frank.

Richard was a 1982 graduate of Linn High School.

On September 21, 2013, he was united in marriage to Rhonda Marie Akers in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. She survives of the home.

Richard was employed 27 years as a well driller for Bonnot Brothers Well Drilling in Loose Creek and Lebanon Pump and Drilling in Phillipsburg.

Richard was a member of St. George Catholic Church in Linn, Pheasants Forever Club and Well Drillers Association.

Richard enjoyed deer and pheasant hunting, fishing, cooking his famous chili, making wine and Memorial Weekend BBQ’s. Richard was a kind hearted, joking person and an extremely hard worker. There was nothing that he could not fix or build. He loved spending time with family and friends.

Along with his spouse, Rhonda, and his father, Floyd, he is survived by: a son, Wesley Frank of Fort Madison, Iowa; a daughter, Becca Frank of Westphalia; two step-daughters, Jaime Roessler of Grovesprings, Missouri and Stephanie Bernelis and her husband Jacob of Willard; two brothers, Floyd George Frank, III and his wife Wanda of Linn, Jeffrey Frank and his wife Tammy of Linn; four sisters, Carolyn Theis and her husband LaVerne of Kewanee, Illinois, Marilyn Benton and her husband Steve of Linn, Evelyn Frank of Linn, and Geralyn Burke and friend Hack White of Hannibal; three brothers-in-law, Stanley Akers and his wife Tina of Long Lane, Missouri, Rick Akers and his wife Pam of Lebanon, and Scott Akers and his wife Kim of Lebanon; four grandchildren, Jaden Adams, Josie Alkire, Abbie Bernelis, and Carson Bernelis; a great granddaughter that is due in July along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at Morton Chapel in Linn.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2017, at St. George Catholic Church in Linn with Fr. Daniel Merz and Rev. David Krueger officiating. Interment will be in Linn Public Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to Washington University Cancer Research.
