In his free time, Bob enjoyed gardening, being in the kitchen, fishing, and hunting on the family farm and passing on his passion to his nieces and nephews. He shared his baking and cooking with many people. He was very precise in his cooking, and he would critique his recipes until they were perfect. He loved to acquire the latest gadgets. In his younger years, he enjoyed going to car shows.
Bob was best known for calling and checking in with his nieces and nephews to see how they were and to be the first in the know. He never met a stranger and went out of his way to help others, no matter how small or large the request.
In addition to his loving mother, Bob is survived by his siblings, Pat (David) Ward of Jefferson City, Kathy (Kary) Wolfe of Linn, Frank Rudroff of Rich Fountain, Jo Ann Rudroff of Rich Fountain, Jackie McCoy of Jefferson City, Janet (Nick) Farris of Jefferson City, and Mary (Nathan) Kempker of Jefferson City; a brother-in-law, Jim Janson of Moberly.
