Robert Henry Hillen

Robert Henry Hillen born on December 10, 1951, and passed on March 5, 2026, surrounded by love and care at Adams Street Place with St. Croix Hospice.

He is survived by his family - his children Daphne of Boonville; Ericia (Jed) of Rhineland and their children, Nora, Max, and Olivia; and Shannon (Tina) of Jefferson City and their children, Quin, Eilee, Laney, and Race; his nephews, Michael of Jefferson City, and Shawn (Ashleigh) of Russellville and their children Madison and Leland; his niece Jessica of Hermann and her children, Mason and Millie; and his sister in law, Debby (Jim) of Jefferson City.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Mary and Henry of Linn and his brother Johnny of Jefferson City.

Bob attended St. Thomas Aquinas Preparatory Seminary in Hannibal for two years before graduating from Linn High School in 1969. Following high school, he worked at Westinghouse through its transition to ABB before retiring early following complications from Parkinson’s. There are 1000s of words to describe a man that meant so much to so many. Father. Grandfather. Brother. Uncle. Friend. Traveler. Collector. Cooking Extraordinaire. Generous. Thoughtful. Supportive. Honest. Ornery. Smirk. Mustache. Furrowed brow. Sodies. Candy. Chips. Quiet observer. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends the most - playing softball and deer hunting with friends, coaching soccer teams, watching Marsh Racing, and visiting and traveling with family.

We think about you always. We talk about you still. You have never been forgotten, and you never will. We hold you close within our hearts, and there you will remain, to walk and guide us through our lives until we meet again.
