Robert Paul Reynolds, age 85 of Linn passed away Sunday, January 10, 2010 at St Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City after a short illness.

Paul was born on September 11, 1924 in Linn, a son to the late Hugh and Buena (Baker) Reynolds. Paul attended Linn High school and was a World War II Navy Veteran.

On November 27, 1952 Paul was united in marriage to Esther Kuster in Linn. She survives of the home.

After completing his military duty Paul went to work for the Ohio River Company as a chief diesel engineer working for them until his retirement in 1966. He then worked for the Missouri State Highway Department and finally for the Linn Public School system in the maintaince department. He retired from the school district in 1987.

Paul enjoyed coon hunting, fishing and restoring antique furniture. He was a member of St. George Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Paul loved the Lord and had accepted Jesus Christ as his savior.

In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by two sons; Robert David and his wife Brenda Reynolds of Decatur, Ill and Ralph Paul and his wife Pam Reynolds of Owensville, one brother; Eddie (John) and his wife Laurissa Reynolds of Big Springs, three grandchildren; Chelsea Reynolds, Ethan Reynolds and Stefanie Hupp as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Paul was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.

Visitation will be 11:00am-1:00pm Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at the Morton Chapel in Linn.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00pm Tuesday at St. George Church with Fr. I.C. Medina as the Celebrant. Interment will follow in the St George Church Cemetery with full military honors.
