Shirley Lea Jensen

Shirley L. Jensen, age 75 of Linn, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family.

Shirley was born on April 10, 1940, in Kankakee, Illinois, a daughter to the late Cyril and Margaret (Miller) Fritchley.

Shirley attended school in Kankakee.

On June 12, 1971, she was united in marriage to Thomas "Tommy" Jensen in Elko, Nevada. He preceded her in death on April 18, 2015.

Shirley was a homemaker and a member of the Liberty Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafts, antiquing, and spending time with her family.

Shirley is survived by: eight children, Tracy Howell and her husband Tom, Jimmie Gaddis and her husband Rodney, Bryan Wiggins and his wife Patty all of Linn, Berry Wiggins and his wife Jeanette of Jefferson City, Eric Jensen, Brandi Bridges, John Jensen all of Linn, and April Orme and her husband Gary of Lakeland, FL; one brother, Tommy Fritchley and his wife Gladys of Linn; two sisters, Linda Thorton of Santa Rosa, CA and Kathryn Korner of Belmont, CA; 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her spouse of 43 years, Shirley was preceded in death by: a daughter, Tammy Gillespie; one grandson, Aaron Kixmiller; and two sisters, Joyce Brown and Betty Easterling.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at Morton Chapel in Linn.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2015, at Morton Chapel in Linn with Rev. Leo Roberson officiating. Interment will follow in the Useful Cemetery near Linn.

Internment will follow in the Useful Cemetery
