Sybilla E. Ruettgers, 103, of Linn, Missouri passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at Autumn Meadows Skilled Care in Linn.

She was born January 27, 1905 in Frankenstein to the late Michael and Wilemena (Ebert) Puetz.

Sybilla attended school in Frankenstein. She moved to Loose Creek in 1907. On November 28, 1929, she was married to Louis L. Ruettgers in Loose Creek. He preceded her in death on August 25, 1984.

She loved to Crochet, enjoyed sewing, gardening and cooking. In 2003, she received an award for being the oldest living parishioner at Immaculate Conception Church in Loose Creek. Sybilla was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Loose Creek until she moved to Linn in 1985 when she became a member of St. George Church.

Sybilla was the eldest of five generations of women ranging from 103 to six years old. The five generations included Sybilla, her daughter Grace and her husband Pete Radmacher of Linn, her granddaughter Glenda and her husband Terry Whitney of Linn, her great-granddaughter Nicole and her husband Shannon Linhardt of Linn and her great great granddaughter Bailey Linhardt.

Additional survivors include one son, Harry and wife Anna Marie Ruettgers of Bonnots Mill, thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, seven step great grandchildren, and two step great great grandchildren, one niece and one nephew.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mae Boyd, four brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be 4 pm-7 pm Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at Morton Chapel in Linn.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:00 am Thursday, June 12, 2008, at Immaculate Conception Church in Loose Creek. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery.
