Theodore ""Ted"" J. Kirsch, Jr. 87 of Bonnots Mill, Mo passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at his residence.

He was born on August 29, 1920 in Schell City, Mo to the late Theodore J and Antonia (Maus) Kirsch.

He was a World War II Army veteran and he worked as a farmer and a corrections officer.

On September 16, 1973 he married Marie F. Steuber Kliethermes in Bonnots Mill. She preceded him in death on May 7, 1997.

He is survived by one son, Richard Kirsch of Bonnots Mill. Four step-children, Joyce and her husband Ted Muenks of Loose Creek, Debbie and her husband Andy Kruse of Jefferson City, Danny Kliethermes and David Kliethermes and his wife Kathy of Russellville. One brother, William Kirsch of Linn, six sisters, Margaret Muenks of Loose Creek, Stella Salsbury of Independence, Mo, Beulah Dudenhoeffer of Jefferson City, Eva Kliethermes of Taos, Helen Linnenbrink of Bonnots Mill and Martha Jaegers of Linn. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and his wife he was preceded in death by five brothers, Robert ""Bobby"", Nelson, Charles, Richard and Nick Kirsch and three sisters, Marie Zaring, Mary Katherine Rotter and Mildred Blight.

Visitation will be 4pm-8pm Friday, June 6, 2008 in Morton Chapel in Linn with funeral services following the visitation.

Ted's family will hold a private service at the family farm where is cremains will be scattered.
