Travis Andrew Muenks

Travis A. Muenks, age 44 of Loose Creek, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.

Travis was born March 28, 1972, in Jefferson City, a son to Norman and Judy (Kliethermes) Muenks. His parents survive of the home in Loose Creek.

Travis was employed at Capital Projects in Jefferson City for several years.

Travis was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Loose Creek where he served as an usher.

Travis enjoyed attending the picnics throughout Osage County with his friends from the John Stratman Apartments in Linn. He loved country music and could tell you the artist who sang the songs. He sang many solos over the years at weddings and funerals and recently he and his friends from the Stratman apartments sang at the” Mid Missouri’s Got Talent” show in Jefferson City that was sponsored by the United Way. He enjoyed sending out birthday cards to random people he would meet. He would ask your birthday and your address and never write down any of the information and when your birthday came around you would get a card from him. He was an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and the St. Louis Cardinals. He also treasured the times he spent fishing with his uncle Bill. To sum up Travis’s life you could say, He lived an amazing life, defying the odds and that he truly loved people.
