Virgil "Butch" Frank Mengwasser

Virgil "Butch" Frank Mengwasser, age 69 of Loose Creek, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at his residence.

Virgil was born June 17, 1951, in Vienna, a son to the late Arthur and Agnes (Bock) Mengwasser.

He was a 1969 graduate of Fatima High School and attended Linn Technical College.

Virgil was employed at Missouri Department of Transportation as a bridge painter.

He was an avid outdoorsman.  Virgil loved to hunt and fish to the point of becoming a commercial fisherman.

Private family services will be held. Interment will be in the Immaculate Conception Parish Cemetery in Loose Creek. 

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice Compassus.
