Wendy Sue Jones

Wendy Sue Jones, age 56 of Jefferson City, formerly of Hermann, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2019, in Jefferson City.

Wendy was born November 11, 1962, in Wichita, Kansas, a daughter to the late Alva and Helen (Seaton) Wiegand.

Wendy enjoyed watching crime shows, Walker Texas Ranger and Cardinals baseball.  She also love arranging flowers and working on various crafts.  

Wendy is survived by: one daughter, Casandra Roberts and her husband Caleb of Foster City, CA; three brothers, Tim Wiegand of Holts Summit, Jim Wiegand and his wife Joyce of Linn, and Mark Weigand of Jefferson City; one sister, Rachel Modesitt of Linn; six grandchildren, Cole Robert Jones, Kimberly Barr, Cheyenne Barr, Jacey Barr, C.J. Roberts, Levi Roberts, and one grandson on the way; along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Christina Barr and a sister, Kathy Nichols.

A memorial gathering will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 7, 2019, at Morton Chapel in Linn.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Salvation Army.
