William “Bill” J. Kaullen, age 80, of Linn, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at his residence.
Bill was born on November 5, 1945, in St. Louis, a son to the late Perry “Bud” and Joyce (Pyle) Kaullen.
He was a 1963 graduate of Linn High School.
On July 31, 1965, he was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart, Judy Ann Nilges in Linn. Judy preceded him in death on August 21, 2008, after 42 years of marriage.
Bill was employed at Chrysler/General Motors in St. Louis until he moved back to Linn in 1972. He joined the family business of Kaullen’s Drive-In in Linn until they closed in 1991. After that he went to work for Mike Kehoe Ford in Jefferson City until he retired.
Bill enjoyed bar-b-queuing, taking day trips to different parts of the state with is favorite, being to the Lake of the Ozarks, and being on the family farm. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and friends.
Bill is survived by one daughter Kerry (Jimmy) Cassidy of Somerville, MA; one son, BJ Kaullen of Linn; two granddaughters, Lauren (Blake) Snyder of Linn and Lydia Kaullen of Linn; and one great granddaughter, Emery Mae Snyder; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Morton Chapel in Linn with Funeral Service to follow at 1:00 p.m. with Deacon Tony Valdes officiating. Interment will be held in Fairview Cemetery near Linn.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to St. George Catholic Church or School.
