Bruce Allan Sieg, age 55, of Bonnots Mills, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
Bruce was born March 22, 1965, in Jefferson City, a son to the late Chester Sieg, Sr. and Elizabeth (Linnenbrink) Sieg.
Bruce was a 1984 graduate of Fatima High School.
On March 18, 2000, he was united in marriage to Jennifer Zimmer at St. Louis of France Catholic Church in Bonnots Mill. She survives of the home.
Bruce had been a truck driver for local farmers and Osage County Concrete, an employee with the Osage County Special Road District and Scholastic in Jefferson City. He currently was employed with Morris Packaging in Jefferson City.
Bruce was a member of St. Louis of France Catholic Church in Bonnots Mill and Ducks Unlimited.
He enjoyed hunting, Peterbilt Trucks, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, watching the New York Yankees, St. Louis Cardinal baseball games, and loved his fried chicken.
In addition to his spouse of 20 years, Bruce is survived by: one son, Isaac Sieg and one daughter, Nicole Sieg, both of the home; two brothers, Gerald Mantle and his wife Nancy of Taos and Leo “Bud” Sieg and his wife Shirley of Jefferson City; four sisters, Helen Ferguson and her husband Jim of Linn, Patty Grothoff and her husband Mike of Olathe, KS, Mary Huhn and her husband Bob of Koeltztown, and Doris Dolce and her husband Chas of Jefferson City; one sister-in-law, Rita Mantle of Loose Creek; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by three brothers, Jim Mantle, Chester Sieg, Jr. and Richard “Rich” Sieg; one sister, Cathy Rehagen; and one nephew, Joshua Dolce.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2020, at Morton Chapel in Linn.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 12, 2020, at St. Louis of France Catholic Church in Bonnots Mill with Fr. Anthony R. Rinaldo as the celebrant. Interment will follow in the St. Louis of France Parish Cemetery.
The general public is welcome to attend the services while following social distancing guidelines. Those attending are asked to wear a personal mask while in attendance.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association or St. Louis of France Restoration Fund.
