Carol A. Keilholz, age 80 of Jefferson City, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Carol was born May 26, 1941, in Linn, a daughter to the late Benjamin and Myrtle (Nichols) Buscher.
Carol attended Osage R-1 school in Chamois.
On January 6, 1962, she was united in marriage to Raymond Keilholz at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Chamois. He survives of the home.
Carol was employed at Florsheim Shoe Factory in Hermann and Jefferson City.
She was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Chamois.
Carol enjoyed gardening, painting, cooking and baking, along with finding a good deal at any local flea market.
In addition to her spouse of 59 years, Carol is survived by: six children, Connie Camp and her husband Brint of Richmond, KY, Loretta Miller and her husband Randy of Linn, Todd Keilholz of Jefferson City, Paul Keilholz of Linn, Joyce Schofield and her husband Anthony of Jefferson City and Lola Kane and her husband Scott of Ocean Springs, MS; 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; one brother, Walter Buscher and his wife Donna of St. Louis; one sister, Paula Wilson and her husband Robert of Linn; one brother-in-law, Albert Zastrow of Hermann; one sister-in-law, Alverta Buscher of Chamois; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her step father, Paul Fredrich; two grandchildren, one sister, Margie Zastrow, and one brother, Eddie Buscher.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at Morton Chapel in Chamois.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Chamois with Fr. David Means as the celebrant. Interment will be in the Most Pure Heart of Mary Parish Cemetery.
